Since 2010, Republicans have consistently gained at every level of federal, state, and local government: As Rush put it, “All the way down to dog-catcher.” This is partly attributable to the efforts of groups like the Tea Party, but it’s also a result of new demographics.
I once heard a demographer state that (paraphrase) “…the exodus of whites from the inner-cities since the mid-1960s has been the greatest mass-migration in the history of mankind.”
The phenomenon of large numbers of whites leaving the “blue dots” that represent our larger cities has prevented corrupt “Democrat” machine politics from neutralizing their votes and effectively leaving them without representation. I was one of them.
Those who remain — blacks, poor whites, naive liberals, union thugs, and public employees — are left to fight each other for the scraps. This describes the political dynamics of our largest cities, where few even bother to give lip-service to representing conservative, white Christians.
My point is this: DOES ANYONE REALLY THINK THAT WHITE VOTERS WHO LEFT THESE CESSPOOLS ARE ANY LESS MOTIVATED TO VOTE IN 2018 THAN THEY WERE IN 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016?
The problem is that our people do not bother to think about politics every day, as many readers of this website do: Most conservative white Christians have a host of responsibilities, including jobs, families, home improvements, religious obligations and fraternal organizations.
We are fortunate when they are able to turn out and vote every two years for their Congressional delegations. It is unrealistic to expect them to vote in most primaries, and delusional to expect them to turn out in large numbers for Special Elections.
In contrast, the pimps, mailbox-watchers, whores, dangerously ignorant children, public employees, those who won’t be adults at 40, street thugs, radicalized “students,” and blacks handed “walking-around-money” have lots of free time: In fact, they have all day to “vote early and often.”
The same people who changed America’s political landscape in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 will be there in November. In fact, I predict a “red wave,” because we finally have something that’s worth fighting for, and that’s the Trump Revolution.
